Making a Difference in Cancer Care
Counting millimeters when treating cancer, in some instances, can mean the difference between cure and recurrence. It can also be the difference between having a bad side effect and acceptably tolerating the treatment.
At Radiation Oncology of Northern Illinois, located at the Fox River Cancer Center, we're making that difference by bringing advanced cancer treatments and highly-skilled, expertly-trained providers to this area:
* Dr. Kevin Khater is the only radiation oncologist in this area with both a MD and PhD in biophysics.
* Our state-of-the-art Linear Accelerator is the only one in the immediate and surrounding areas, that can also perform a CT scan, allowing us to have pencil-tip precision when delivering radiation.
* Dr. Khater practices at only one (1) site, where he is available everyday - Monday through Friday.
